If we're in the first wave of swine flu, shouldn't we be aiming to catch swine flu (click to read more)?

I truly believe that we can't afford to wait for any vaccine to be correct anyway, but should that keep us away from a yearly flu shot also. I, for one believe that if we throw ourselves into the face of a possible train wreck then we need to be prepared for the worse. There is no way to know how this virus will effect you (personally), ahead of time. Would you be among to be in line for a vaccine that comes out against HIV, or would you stay away from the possibility of getting it in the first place? These are all personal decisions and so being human we can only do what we ourselves believe and advise others to do the same. When you have additional knowledge in anything, then share it for the good of humanity and move on. Good luck and God Bless
