My dad has lived in a house that has been convertd to a 2 tenate apartment. The upstairs is the neighbors home, and the basement is my dad's place. There is a foul smell coming from the drain in the shower. When you pull the plug in the shower the sink gurgles, and emits a bad smell. When you go to plug in anything into the electrical outlets there is a blue arc, There is a yellowish brown run mark (like water trickling down the walls in the shower,) only this is on the bathroom walls. The washer pours out water when doing laundry unless something is shoved into the one pipe, the pantry wall is rotten, there is mold growing everywhere. Plain and simple we have given this man plenty of time. He had realators, and inspectors come in telling him that the place is not up to code, but he's yet to do anything. Well I think it is time for all of them to stop drinking and get some help. They will have to go to court to see if they can get the kids back, if they can't afford one then the government will give them a court appointed one. Scariest dream i have ever had?

ok this is scaring the **** outta me... the other day i had a strange dream. i was in a strange place don't know where but i was in a car with someone and my vision started to flicker and i suddenly saw everything transform like it was 100 years back(everything was black and white) and i could see dead people(well i think they were) but i had this sick feeling in my stomach and it literally felt like my stomach turned upside down. im not just saying it.. like if you pick something up and flip it over(i could feel it turning). i had another feeling that i cant describe. its like the air is different and thinner as if i don't need 2 breathe. and i started to tell people but no one believed me. then i found other people who could do the same thing. and then other things happened that were very vivid. And in my dream there was this kid who looked at me strange... like he knew me my whole life and was trying to tell me something but didn't say anything.. and then my life went back to normal in seconds. i felt the pain in my stomach and everything transformed and i was back in the car with everyone looking at me. the strange thing is i fell a sleep in the dream and woke up as if it wasn't a dream. and it seemed to last forever. and then i woke up and it was if i had never had the dream. i didnt even remember it. until now, i think its been a few days later and i suddenly remember the dream. i just have that feeling that i had in the dream. except my stomach isn't like it. does this mean something. and to be honest im kinda freaked. cus i don't believe in paranormal crap. and why didnt i remember this the day i had the dream. scarry stuff aye? im kinda scared. later on in the dream i tried to vomit and it seemed to trigger the dead people thing.

I was just sitting around thinking and I came to the realization that gods were personifications of nature, like the sun good, moon god, god of love, etc. And then I realized that God is a personification of ALL of nature. Nature's unpredictability led humans to believe that someone, a creator of all nature, was determining the variables. And interestingly, these religious beliefs were made in a time of kings and rulers, which reflects the whole idea of a creator ruling over his people and doing what is best for them like a king. When in reality, if there is a creator or God that did create the "nature" we live in, it certainly isn't biased towards humans, or any of life for that matter. Yet we feel we are special, or want it so badly that it becomes truth to us, that we personify our own bodies with a soul. Think about that, personifying your own body, just another thing in nature, and personifying it with a soul. It is this crazy idea of personification that we've presumed to be true and the root to any religion. It is this need for happiness that drives any incentive, competition, motivation to do anything, and it is fear of death that creates a useless faith. And some of even accept this fact and say well I'd rather think there was a God because it makes me happy, or that they'd rather believe it than not... you know, just in case... It is pathetic how afraid most people can be, or rather how unaware they are, of any other possible truth that may exist. One could say, where do people get their morals from? And religion does certainly help with that. Morals benefit a society and promote our survival. It is an evolutionary tool. Religion in a sense is an evolutionary tool which is why I am glad it exists to an extent. We can still have morals without divine consequence though, and that in itself isn't moral, that is divine selfishness. I'm not sure what I'm arguing for anymore at this point, I'm just sort of rambling. This isn't really a question, just leave any comments or anything you wanna say down, religious bullshit or not, it's all welcome.

Ok, so here's my brief synopsis of my life. I'm 26 years old. I work full time, and go to school full time. My grandfather, who was living with us, is now in a home & is dying quickly. I got my tattoo about 3-4 weeks ago now and It doesn't seem to have healed properly. For fun at the range, I'm considering buying one of these two revolvers. I think I'd enjoy the pop of the GP100 more, and having a double action instead of a single action only. The problem? At my handgun safety cl, I started to anticipate the recoil of the .38 special I was shooting. Don't know why. It didn't bother my hand, I don't mind the noise, and it didn't bother me the one time I'd shot a revolver before. But I began to flinch. I've heard that beginners should use a .22 to start with to avoid this problem. I have already bought a MKIII (waiting to actually get it, live in MA, which sucks, long story). Can I use the MKIII for a bit to learn to shoot, then switch after a while of training to the GP100 for fun? Or is it apples and oranges with a revolver and auto, and I should learn with the single six before getting a more powerful revolver?

Is plexi-gl hazardous over a fish-tank?

Although I have a full hood and light for my 20H gallon freshwater fish tank, I have just added another strip light and in order to accommodate the two strip lights, I've removed the hood and replaced it with a sheet of plexi-gl that simply sits on the top of the tank. I didn't use gl because: 1) it's too expensive to buy a gl hood and 2) it's very brittle and could cause injury if it breaks. As of now, two bare fluorescent strip lights (no gl inlay) sit right on the plexi-gl. I want to know if there is any danger of hazardous chemicals seeping into the tank with water condensing on the underside and the heat of the strip lights on the top of the plexi-glass.

Canon 24-70L or the 24-105L?

I am about to ask the infamous question...should I buy the 24-70L or the 24-105L? It will be used on my Rebel XT as my main "go to" lens. I like the f2.8 of the 24-70, but like the IS and longer focal length of the 24-105. Is the f/4 of the 24-105 suitable for indoor use? How often do you really open up to f/2.8 for indoor shots? Doesn't that mess up the DOF, so wouldn't you be stopping down and not utilizing the f/2.8? As my "go to" lens, I feel that the longer focal length and the IS will be most useful, but I would also like to own an f/2.8.

He will take his anger out physically on everyone and go from 0-60 in one second it is very frustating. We have found out that he is severially A.D.D. and has mental prcessing disorders. This can cause them to do all this for attention and not care how they get it. Most add kida are very intelligent and it sounds like your child is very smart. I would recomend going to a phycoligist or phyciatrist (i dont rememebr which one does what) which ever one tests for a.d.d and mental disorders o would go to. The first step his getting his IQ tested and then they will go from there. There is medison for things like this. He could have an explosive disorder also. I live with someone like your son every day dont kill yourself or go to measures like that. It will eventually get better. I would also recomend seeing a councler or brainstorming ideas with a friend. My brother will shuve cuss throw things and all of the things your son does at my mom it is very sad and will get me in tears. We saved on almost everything. We splurged a bit on the venue but it included a lot for the price. For photography, I found a girl just starting out so she was offering a deal. By this age your daughter should be eating just about everything that you eat. I would suggest getting her off the milk now before you have another baby or that will probably cause you problems. You should introduce her to a cup if you haven't already and offer her formula or some other type of milk supplement. She should absolutely be eating more food at her age than milk or any type of milk. Like I said I would just offer her what ever it is that you eat and get her off milk.

2005 Honda Civic leaking water in driver floorboard?

My drivers side floorboard is completely saturated with water and I am completely boggled. I don't think its the heating core because it's on the drivers side not the penger side, I checked to make sure my a/c lines aren't leaking in and the window is not leaking either. The water started from the middle of the floorboard and aculates outwards so it can't be coming from the dashboard. I've just ran out of ideas on what it could be.

Jack Russells are high energy dogs and he/she may need a higher quality of food to ensure optimal growth. When you take him for a check up be sure and ask for your vets opinion. You could probably just put a call in to your vet for that answer. Most will gladly give you their opinion without having you come in for an appointment. I only feed Purina and have had dogs that reached 13years and 20 years!! I would think that a good indicator of good quality food!

I have some experience with decorating and baking wedding cakes. You could make the layers about a week in advance and freeze them. It makes it easier to put the icing on when it's frozen too. I don't think you could put the whole cake together 2 or 3 days in advance though. It would probably have to be the day before and then put in the refrigerator.

I put my dog to sleep and now I feel bad?

Yesterday morning I went to my mom's house. I was checking my dogs until I saw my dog Brownie looks very sad, so I told my mom that he didn't look good. So she told me that a week ago she caught him eating rat poison, so she thought she really didn't eat it, well he was looking very thin and very sick, so we took him to vet then he just say that he was not poison on dehydrated so they give him a vitims and fluids. When I went home I call my mom back later that day asking if the dog was okay. So the my dog was getting worst. I went back to my mom house there I saw my dog very sick he was breathing really fast and didn't want to eat. So we took him to another there the vet told us that he was in critical condition that we need to send him to the emergency vet hospital. As we took him the doctor told us that he look very sick and that he had blood in his lungs. And that he was bleeding internally so his condition was poor and that he need it blood transfusion and keep him the hospital but there was not survival changes to recover so me and mom made the decision to put him to sleep he was suffering. Now I feel really bad. How do I cope with this.

180-degree behavioural change in dog - depression?

I have a 6-yr-old jack russsell who is usually quite active and happy to go for walks. 6wks away, his behaviour changed overnight - his tail became constantly between his legs, refuses to go for walks, and always hides under the bed. We have to drag him out for his walks, and even so, he can just sit and refuse to go anywhere, even when he is outside. When someone comes home, he will still come out and greet us, then hide back under the bed. He has been eating, albeit not as much as before. Certain times, he will also scream, but we have not been able to pinpoint the problem. We brought him to the vet who did a blood test on him, but didn't find much abnormalities. The vet also examined him for possible pain in the joints and bones, but nothing came back. If anyone has had similar experiences, pls help. It's heart-breaking to see a normally active and happy dog become so sad and lethargic

The best way I can explain it is how we encounter the creatures. Lobsters and are served on a plate, red in color (by the time I see them), and are accompanied by er to dip them in. Spiders sneak into my house and scare me half to death with their quick little movements and creepy ways. If they were dead and I was used to seeing them on a plate for me to enjoy as a snack, I might feel differently toward them. Now if a live lobster or crab was in my house, I'd freak out too! Condensation Buildup on Window AC Unit?

I'm running a Whirlpool 11400 BTU AC unit (throught the wall installation. The unit has good drainage to the rear with the fan slinging the water against the coils like it should (AC and Heat operation unit). The problem is condensation forming on the underside of the cabinet directly under the refrigerant coils and dropping on the wood frame supporting the unit. I was actually out watching the mini camp last week and watching him throw. He's looking pretty good for the most part. Post pregnancy and now post miscarriage?

I gave birth to my daughter 5 mnths ago. I never stopped producing milk, but I hardly had a problem with leakage. I found out I was pregnant again a few weeks ago, but I miscarried and had an emergancy D&C on Saturday. Since I found out I was pregnant I started producing a lot more milk again and my are two cups sizes more than they were. Is there anything other than time that will get me to stop producing milk? I was also told that I would only spot for a few days. It been 4 now and i'm still leeding regularly like a period. Has that happened to anypne else that's had a D&C?

How can I get my mother to watch my babies so I can get out of the house?

I need to get out of the house sometimes just to have a break for my own mental health. I need her to watch them more so I can use my feeding pump and store milk and look for a job so I can get out of her house. Most of the time she says she has to go to a dance cl at the senior citizens center or else she goes on dates with all these old men that take her to dances for old people. In between all her dance sessions, she gripes and bitches about my kids being in her house and how they are always getting in her stuff but she leaves her door wide open so my babies keep going in her room. I try to shut the door as often as I can but sometimes it is impossible to get to it fast enough because I am feeding a newborn. I have a new electric pump from Wic and I need some time to pump milk and store it and look for a job. Most of the time if she is here she says she has to clean her dresser off and then she just stays in her room all day long while I clean the entire house all day long. When she is not dancing, she says that she needs me to help her pay her bills online since she doesn't know how and constantly asks me how we are going to pay all these bills. I am married to a guy that is not very helpful at all and basically all I want is to find a job and a way to go to work and get us out of this mess. Please help!

New Sore on the left side of my tongue?

A small round sore appeared on the left rear side of my tongue a week ago about the size of a small pea. It has a yellowish tint to it and has a burning sensation to it that is driving me crazy because it goes from my tongue to my throat. I have never had a canker sore or any oral issues besides fillings but I have been a long time smokeless tobacco user and am wonder if that has caught up to me. i want to go to an ivy league college. im a freshman in HS and want to be a pediatric oncologist (cancer) and i would say im well rounded. i play violin, play 2 highschool sports (bball and fastpitch), and i am taking honors worlds studies and advanced math. i do lots of volunteer work in hospital related areas.I am planning on taking IB bio and chem and some other cles in a community college nearby. I have an average GPA of 3.75-8. do i have a good chance to get into an IVY school if i keep this up till senior year? and have good sat scores?

I am having a scheduled c next wednesday and I am starting to freak out. I had an emergency c-section with my son so I know the gist of what to expect I am just more panicked this time.
