Why is everyone so upset about Arizona [I think it is] being in the NCAA tournament?

I was watching Mike&Mike this morning and Vitale was ranting and raving about Arizona {I think} because he thought Syracuse or Drexel deserved to be in their spot. Please break it down for me. I'm new to watching men's ball. In the past I've found it boring compared to the girls. But I've decided to give it half a chance.
