What to expect at your 6 week check up?

My husband and I go tom for my 6 week check up? I know they are giong to do a sonogram and all but what else will happen at this appointment? what else should we expect? This will be the highlight of the week for my husband and he is really looking forward to it considering he has to go in the hospital the following day for surgery!! so hopefully things go well and nothing but good exciting news comes from it!
