If someone told you that you looked like a rockstar or the backstreet boys, is that a compliment?

...I'm not sure whether to take it as an insult or compliment. Basically i'm not sure how you guys see the backstreet boys, or rockstars...It makes me wonder, can they be like silently trying to insult me! lol. Rockstars are cool, backstreet boys, i dont know. I was a big fan of BSB back in the day, i dont like go around trying to look like them.
